Calculate Your Zakat on Livestock

Zakat on Livestock is calculated based on the type of animals, their count, and whether they graze freely or are stall-fed. The Zakat amount varies depending on specific ranges for each type of animal.

Nisab for Zakat on Livestock

The Nisab thresholds for livestock are based on authentic Islamic teachings. If your animals are below these thresholds, Zakat is not obligatory:

  • Camels: 5 camels
  • Cattle: 30 cattle
  • Sheep/Goats: 40 sheep/goats

Source Verification: Based on authentic Hadith narrations in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, these Nisab thresholds are universally accepted by contemporary Islamic scholars and institutions.
